Peugeot pairing Marty Gallagher and William Creighton will kick off their Tarmac Championship challenge on this weekends Galway International rally. If 2016 is anything to go by and with both now in identical cars, this will certainly be one titanic battle.
Marty and co-driver Dean O’Sullivan recently swapped seats for the for the New Years Stages, with Dean taking to the wheel of a McConnell Motorsport Honda Civic and Marty calling the pacenotes, however the serious stuff begins this weekend.
William has had less seat time since the Cork 20 in October – will this give Gallagher the edge in Galway? We will have to wait and see but we can be certain of one thing, if both of these talented drivers get a clean run there will be very little separating them at the finish ramp on Sunday evening.
