New T.R.O.A. Championship Manager Appointed

 

New manager appointed for the Clonakilty Blackpudding Irish Tarmac Championship

The directors of the T.R.O.A. are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Paddy Flanagan as the new manager of the Clonakilty Blackpudding Irish Tarmac Rally Championship. Mr. Flanagan from Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh is a vastly experienced former competitor who co-driven with the late Derek Smith, Brian McGrath and more recently Niall McShea & Alan Cathcart.

Mr. David Gray, Chairman of the T.R.O.A. welcomed the appointment of Mr. Flanagan saying “we are delighted that Paddy has agreed to take up the role of Championship Manager, and as a former competitor will understand the needs of the crews registered for the championship”. Mr. Flanagan said “I am very happy to take up this trueviagraonline.com role as I am passionate about rallying and I look forward to the challenge over the coming months. It is a privilege to be offered this position as I have a lot of respect for the people involved in the T.R.O.A. for a very long time and look forward to working with them in the future”.

Mr. Flanagan will take up the role immediately and will be at the Quality Hotel Clonakilty West Cork Rally, the second round of the championship this coming weekend. Kevin O’Riordan who has been acting as temporary registrar over the past few months will continue in this role for the time being.
