New Clerk of the Course for the 2015 Cork 20 International Rally

The board of directors of the Munster Car Club are today delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Colman Hegarty as Clerk of the Course for the 2015 Cork 20 International Rally. Mr. Hegarty is to be assisted by well-known competitor Paul Brown who will act as his deputy Clerk of the Course for the last counting round of the 2015 Clonakilty Blackpudding Irish Tarmac Rally Championship as well as a counting round of the southern 4 Rally Championship and a counting round of the Munster Car Club Championship. Commenting earlier Colman said that he is delighted to be back at the helm of the infamous motorsport event he added that he is looking forward to meeting some old friends from previous events and more importantly making new friendships with competitors competing on the Cork 20 for the first time. When asked about the format of the event Colman stated that it is too early to comment but plans are firmly in place and will be released as soon as they are finalised however he did ad that the rally will be in a new base for 2015 which he would hope that will bolster entries. Colman went on to say that he would like to thank the previous C.O.C Kevin O’Riordan for his sterling efforts running the event over the last number of years and keeping this event a firm favourite with competitors and spectators alike on the Championship trail. The team is being placed together and will also be announced shortly.
