After 2 days and 14 stages Josh Moffett & Andy Hayes continue to lead the #ITRC challengers as they lie second overall. Manus Kelly in his Impreza WRC continues to lead but Moffett is happy to maintain the second place that would see him extend his championship lead. Closest rival is his brother Sam in third place who is ahead of the impressive duo Rob Duggan & Callum Devine. It was a day of remarkably high attrition with both Robert Barrable and Desi Henry departing the fray due to accidents while Jonny Greer lost a lot of time with a puncture picked up in the aftermath of Barrables accident. Six more stages are to follow tomorrow with Sam Moffett looking to bridge gap of 12 seconds to his younger sibling, and its still all to play for.
In the Modified Championship Ian Barrett leads from Kevin Gallagher who is on course to take maximum championship points. Kyle McGettigan lies just ahead of Kevin Eves while John Bonner is also in close attendance which makes the series very competitive. Damien Tourish the overnight leader didn’t restart due to engine problems. Martin Doherty leads the Historic Rally overnight from Andy Johnson with David Goose in third place.
