Anyone thinking of tackling next months 50th anniversary Rally Isle of Man powered by Microgaming is urged to act quickly – entries close this coming Sunday, 25th August!
The three-day event is a round of the Irish Historic Tarmac Rally Championship and a crucial double-points scorer for the Eurocars Motorsport Manx Rally Championship. As a result over one hundred crews are already set to take to the famous Manx lanes, including teams fromJapan and Belgium. There’s still time for you to join them!
The rally is open to all competitors from the island, the UK and Ireland, and further afield as it is registered as a ‘National Event with Authorised Foreign Participation (NEAFP)’.
The Historic section, Rallee Classicagh, will be run as a National A event and the Manx International Rally and Manx Trophy Rally (a one and a half day event with reduced entry fee) will be run at National B status.
With the start and a side-by-side stage on Douglas promenade the highlight of the opening day, Castletown taking centre stage on day two and a final run down the TT course to finish the event right alongside the TT Grandstand, it is an event that every competitor should have on their ‘to do’ list, and with a special anniversary and entry fees pegged at the reduced rate this may be the ultimate chance to tackle this ‘clubmans international’!
