The Circuit of Ireland Rally organisers have announced they will once again be rewarding two lucky volunteers with a trip to the now infamous Sol Rally Barbados, the Caribbean’s biggest annual Motorsport festival (June 3-5).
This trip of a lifetime prize includes tickets to the Barbados Rally in June this year, as well as flights, accommodation and hire-car on the beautiful tropical island.
Event Director of the Circuit of Ireland, Bobby Willis, said the prize offered in association with the island’s Tourism Development Corporation (TDC), was in place to give something back to the numerous volunteers involved in the Circuit of Ireland.

He said, “We are deeply grateful to the Circuit of Ireland Rally volunteers. Their hard work and commitment have made the event what it is today – a world-class sporting spectacle boasting global audiences of 40 million.”
Bobby added; “This prize is our way of recognising the vital work of the volunteers; it does not go unnoticed. The Circuit of Ireland volunteers are the life and soul of the event. Yet again, they have embarked on this year’s planning with their typical enthusiasm and commitment and it is very much appreciated.”
Volunteers over the age of 17 who register on the volunteer page of the website and sign-on on the day, are automatically entered into the draw and a name will be drawn at random.The Circuit of Ireland Rally is supported by around 800 volunteers in numerous roles throughout the weekend.
Not only does Barbados offer a fantastic festival of motorsport, it also offers some of the world’s best beaches, famous fish festivals and is home to natural wonders including Harrison’s Cave, Flower Forest and the widely acclaimed Barbados Wildlife Reserve. There really is something for everyone.
